Daren Wang – Ghostwriter

Freelancer, editor, and ghostwriter. Award-winning novelist, publishing entrepreneur, founder of largest independent book festival in US.

Overview

I have worked in and around the publishing industry for nearly thirty years and am the author of the critically-acclaimed bestseller The Hidden Light of Northern Fires published by St. Martin’s Press. I founded and ran the Decatur Book Festival, the largest literary event in the Southeast. I’ve worked with writers to craft stories for publication with outlets as diverse as the big five to small literary journals. My freelance clients include Atlanta Journal-Constitution, National Public Radio, The Saporta Report, Emory University, WABE-FM, Agnes Scott College, Paste Magazine, and The Bitter Southerner.

I am also the founder of the Decatur Writers Studio, an important resource for writers and writing in the Atlanta area.

Writing can be lonely work, so I really enjoy collaboration. I look forward to working with an author to suss out the heart of a project, and expand the narrative from there. I like to work at a steady pace, and keep my clients in the loop.
